OMG, so I love Nicole and Chris (couple featured here) and when I found out Nicole was going to have a baby I almost jumped out of my skin! As you can see in this session, they are the most fun and energetic couple, who is always up for anything. Even walking all around Oakland and Temescal in high heels while 9 months preggo! We did stop for ice cream at 10:00 am though, so there was a reward. N&C got the Baby’s First Year package so soon I will be posting more images of their sweet new baby Wesley…but for now please enjoy “The Amazing Oakland, Star Wars Graffiti, Piedmont Cemetery, Fentons Creamery, Temescal Maternity Shoot”!
The Lake Tahoe Summer Wedding:
This stunning wedding on Lake Tahoe was the epitome of classic Lake Tahoe wedding! The weather cooperated perfectly (with the exception of a little smoke blowing in from a near by fire). The beautiful green linens blew in the breeze on the deck side cocktail hour. Inside the clear tent were birch wrapped vases with simple green and white flowers that accented the awesome green and ivory patterns table cloths. Stephanie from One Fine Day nailed it!
This wedding was also featured on Tahoe Unveiled’s fabulous blog: Click here to see more images!
The Late Summer Wedding:
Deep beautiful dahlias, big baskets, stamped place cards strung in a tree, a phenomenal dessert station, wine boxes & beautiful linens made this late summer wedding pop. The Dawn Ranch is an amazing venue – its hard to go wrong. You could put nothing on the tables and it would be stunning:)
The Fall Wedding:
Could this DIY wedding decor be more amazing? Soup can vases, succulents creeping out of old books and blocks salvaged from antique stores and garage sales? Oh my! This bride did everything herself and needs to start her own design business:) And a fall wedding must, decorating with pumpkins!! People – steal these ideas!
The “Winter” Wedding:
Ok to be fair, this was a LATE fall wedding, but it poured rain! Not just a sprinkle, a full on storm of the century rain! However, that didn’t get us down! The cosy, wonderful romantic feel of the West Shore Cafe made this early winter wedding so beautiful, and all the decorations were done by the bride. And the weather cleared for the ceremony! The use of deep blue and bright coral, was stunning! Lots of candles made this wedding feel warn and wintery. Also, the signed jenga pieces instead of a guest book – amazing! I loved this wedding! Rain and all!
