Vivi found me through the tangled web of Facebook and I am so glad she did! They had their beautiful wedding in her parents stunning backyard right off the Blackhawk Golf Course in Danville, Ca on 10.10.10! It was a very hot day (as usual in that area of California) but Vivi and Steve were such great sports about taking photos in the sun. They had very much a ‘Do it Yourself’ wedding, and with Vivi’s organization – it ran beautifully. Of the few vendors they used, East Bay Flower Company really did an amazing job incorporating Vivi’s grandfather’s military metals into her bouquet and Spring Loaf Catering did an amazing job with the food! I loved how their photos turned out – and I thank them and their sweet families again for having me be a part of their wonderful day!
Brittany and Larry are the sweetest couple and VERY talented! Brittany is an amazing speech therapist and used to roll in the Bay Area Derby Girls before moving back to Monterey, Ca. Larry can make anything!! From his delicious ‘5 And Dime’ beer he made for the wedding to cheeses and wines – if it needs to ferment, Larry can do it! When they asked me to shoot their wedding at Brittany’s uncle’s stunning house in Carmel Valley I was so happy. Both their parents did the decorations and made the yummy jams. Grapes of Wrath did the delicious catering and one of her dearest friends was their coordinator, it was really a do it yourself wedding! I had so much fun at this event, I even danced a bit and enjoyed a home brewed beer. Thanks again Britt & Larry for making my job so fun! (This wedding was featured on “And Something Blue”!
