The Lake Tahoe Summer Wedding:

This stunning wedding on Lake Tahoe was the epitome of classic Lake Tahoe wedding!  The weather cooperated perfectly (with the exception of a little smoke blowing in from a near by fire). The beautiful green linens blew in the breeze on the deck side cocktail hour.   Inside the clear tent were birch wrapped vases with simple green and white flowers that accented the awesome green and ivory patterns table cloths.  Stephanie from One Fine Day nailed it!

The Late Summer Wedding:

Deep beautiful dahlias, big baskets, stamped place cards strung in a tree, a phenomenal dessert station, wine boxes & beautiful linens made this late summer wedding pop.  The Dawn Ranch is an amazing venue – its hard to go wrong.  You could put nothing on the tables and it would be stunning:)

The Fall Wedding:

Could this DIY wedding decor be more amazing?  Soup can vases, succulents creeping out of old books and blocks salvaged from antique stores and garage sales? Oh my!  This bride did everything herself and needs to start her own design business:)  And a fall wedding must, decorating with pumpkins!!  People – steal these ideas!

The “Winter” Wedding:

Ok to be fair, this was a LATE fall wedding, but it poured rain!  Not just a sprinkle, a full on storm of the century rain!  However, that didn’t get us down!  The cosy, wonderful romantic feel of the West Shore Cafe made this early winter wedding so beautiful, and all the decorations were done by the bride.  And the weather cleared for the ceremony!  The use of deep blue and bright coral, was stunning!  Lots of candles made this wedding feel warn and wintery.  Also, the signed jenga pieces instead of a guest book – amazing!  I loved this wedding!  Rain and all!

Shelby + Scott at The Logs Estate

I have known Scott for years.  We worked at Jake’s on the Lake in Tahoe City together in my early years of becoming a photographer.  He is the executive chef at Jake’s and so incredibly talented!  I was working at the restaurant for a couple summers with Scott and shooting weddings on the side.  Scott and I became great friends and shortly after – he met the wonderful and beautiful Shelby!  We all knew she was the one:)  When I got the phone call from Scott last year that he wanted me to shoot their wedding I was so PUMPED!  It was a true Lake Tahoe wedding.  The guys came in on a boat and the setting was an amazing villa right on the water called The Logs.  I am really excited to share these photos with everyone.  I had so much fun at this wedding.  Thank you Scott & Shelby for having me a part of your exciting year…I can’t wait for your next chapter:)

Kate + Rob at Gatekeeper’s Museum

Kate and Rob are an amazing couple.  They were referred to me by their wonderful officiant Molly, and I’m so glad she introduced me to them!  They took wedding details to the next level: it took my second shooter and I over an hour to take pictures of all the thoughtful decorations, giveaways, and accents of their beautiful Lake Tahoe wedding.  What amazed me the most were the wooden birds that Kate’s dad hand carved himself!

As you can see, we had a perfect sky, and a gorgeous day.  Kate and Rob are an up-for-anything kind of couple… we snuck into the nearby dock to shoot their bridal portraits.  And one month later, I photographed Kate at her trash-the-dress session in the freezing ocean.  (Photos coming soon!)  Thank you again to Rob and Kate for having me shoot your wedding.  You’re a wonderful couple and I wish you all the best!
